With His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman

Roads of Arabia is an eye-opening look at the largely unknown cultural history of the Arabian Peninsula and draws on recently discovered archaeological material never before seen in North America. The exhibit travels to Pittsburgh in June from the Smithsonian in Washington DC and previously was at the Louvre in Paris.
Dating back 7,000 years, the exhibition features objects excavated from several sites throughout the Arabian Peninsula that trace ancient trade routes and pilgrimage roads stretching from Yemen in the south to Iraq and Mediterranean cultures in the north.
Donation of $1,000 per person to benefit Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the American Middle East Institute.
